how do we keep your screens secure?

multiscreenshare uses a 3-level approach to keep your screen sharing safe and secure.

peer-to-peer connection

industry standard security

multiscreenshare uses industry standard WebRTC technology to set up a network of peer-to-peer video communications.

WebRTC is used in many of the most secure video sharing systems and has been proven over many years. The underlying peer-to-peer nature of this communication protocol stops any eavesdropping of your screens

Secure, reliable, peer-to-peer communication.

device id

only share your device

multiscreenshare will only allow users to connect with a specific multi screen display if they use the correct device id

Each multi screen display is setup with a unique 20 character code that is then embedded into the url used to connect to the display. Without this code you cannot connect to the display.

The second layer of security

meeting pin code

the final layer of security

multiscreenshare provides one last layer of security as a 4 digit pin code is required before you can view any shared screens

Every time a meeting is hosted a random 4 digit pin is produced. This code is shared using any independent mechanism you choose (eg Teams chat) to the people you want to join the meeting.

The third layer of security.
